This fantastic piece of original Chinese elm furniture has 4 drawers and is finished on all four sides.
At some point it has been used to burn some type of oil, which has created a slow pooling and dripping burn over the top and rear.
It has been looked at by a specialist dealer who advised me that its from the 18thC with various restorations spanning the centuries, right up to the late 20thC.
