19th Century Staffordshire Pottery Lamp with Brass Frame

This beautiful lamp is a Staffordshire pottery oil lamp base, now converted to electricity. 

The pottery lamp is held in a brass frame and is decorated with dark blue and red pattern on a white background and highlighted in gilt.

This lamp has been rewired and PAT tested.

English, 1880’s.

The pottery area of the lamp has some historic cracking and repairs. It is now absolutely sound and sits well with no movement within the cage.
